The Breakdown of 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl', 'The Circle', 'The 101-Year-Old Man Who Skipped Out on the Bill and Disappeared', 'Small Crimes' and Tribute to Jonathan Demme

The Breakdown is in a mood for pillaging small villages and sailing the high seas. We will be reviewing every Pirates of the Caribbean movie over the next several weeks as a way to build to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. It makes the most sense to start from the beginning, so this week we will be reviewing the hit that launched a massive franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. We also will be reviewing the techno-thriller starring Emma Watson that came out this weekend, The Circle. In sad news, we lost one of the really great directors of our time, Jonathan Demme, so we pay tribute to his career. As always if you enjoy the show then please spread to the word to other movie fans.
